The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance place created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to empower the servicing of all clients and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
